Attorney advertising
This website, and any mobile application published under the name Carver Esq., are communications about legal services and may be considered attorney advertising under the California Rules of Professional Conduct. Nothing on them is an offer to represent you, and nothing on them creates an attorney–client relationship.
Who is responsible for this content
Eric Adar Carver is the attorney responsible for the content of this website and of the Carver Esq. mobile application. He is licensed to practice law in California, State Bar No. 347496, and practices as a sole practitioner. He is not certified by the State Bar of California as a specialist in any field of law.
Carver Esq. · 907 Westwood Blvd., Ste. 184, Los Angeles, CA 90024 · (424) 210-5597 · adar@carveresq.com
Services are offered only in jurisdictions where the attorney is admitted to practice, or where the work is limited to matters governed by federal law and permitted without state admission — for example, practice before the United States Patent and Trademark Office. Contacting the attorney from another jurisdiction does not create a relationship and does not mean the attorney can act for you there.
No guarantee of any outcome
No result is promised or implied. The outcome of any legal matter depends on its own facts, on the law that applies to it, and on decisions made by courts, government agencies and other parties that no attorney controls. Any description of past matters, filings or engagements is a description of what happened in those matters only. Prior results do not guarantee or predict a similar outcome in any other matter, including yours.
Descriptions of process, turnaround or typical steps describe how the attorney ordinarily works. They are not commitments about your matter, and they are not predictions about how any agency or court will act.
Published fees
Flat fees published on this site and in the application are honored as published for the scope each one states, for engagements entered while that fee is posted. Each listing describes what the fee covers, and where applicable what it excludes — government filing fees, agency charges and third-party costs are separate unless a listing says otherwise, and are set by those bodies rather than by the attorney.
A fee becomes binding when it is set out in a signed engagement letter. Until then, published fees are an accurate statement of the attorney’s current rates for a described scope, not a quote for your matter — a matter whose scope differs will be quoted on its own terms before any work begins.
Certifications
Certifications issued by the International Association of Privacy Professionals (IAPP) are professional credentials awarded by a private organization. They are not certifications by the State Bar of California, and the State Bar does not recognize, approve or endorse them. No California legal specialization is claimed on the basis of any IAPP credential.
Confidential information
Do not send confidential or time-sensitive information through this website, the application, or by email before an attorney–client relationship exists and you have been told it is appropriate to do so. Information you send before then may not be protected by the attorney–client privilege, and a conflict of interest may prevent the attorney from acting for you at all. Information about prospective clients is nonetheless treated as confidential in accordance with Rule 1.18.
